They That Wait on the Lord

"But those that wait on
the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk
and not be faint." Is. 40:31
"He tends His flock like a shepherd. He gathers the lambs in His arms and
carries them close to His heart." Is. 40:11
They that wait on the Lord will renew
their strength
They will soar on wings like eagles
He gives strength to the weary and power to the weak
He
will not fail, His own, He will keep.
The Lord sits enthroned above the earth
and marks out the heavn's
with His mighty hand
O who can compare to the Holy One?
His word forever will stand. chorus
He tends His own flock like a shepherd
and gathers His lambs into His arms
His sheep know His voice
and He calls them by name
and holds them close to His heart. chorus
*As my step father fought a battle with cancer for several years, my mom took care of him.
They both drew closer to the Lord, and these verses from Isaiah 40 were a comfort and help to them. My mom's health has
now declined significantly as she deals with advanced multiple sclerosis. I wanted to write this song to encourage
