Psalm 34:10 " The angel of
the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and He delivers them."
Isaiah 61:3 "...to bestow on
them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead
of a spirit of despair."
I Corinthians 2:9 "No eye has seen; no ear has heard, no mind has conceived
what God has prepared, for those who love Him."
Comfort by Keri Jacobs - see story at bottom of
page*
"Comfort, comfort to My child
who mourns; You will be delivered," says the Lord. He encamps about His children with the angel of His presence Bringing peace and deliverance, and to those who fear The refuge of His Name.
"Comfort, comfort to
My child who mourns; You will be delivered," says the Lord. He bestows beauty for ashes, pouring out the oil
of gladness Turning sorrow into to favor Bringing glory with the garment of His praise.
"Comfort,
comfort to My child who waits; You will soon behold Me face to face." No mind can grasp the splendor, nor eye
behold the glory Of the place He is preparing for those He loves, His children called by name.
"Comfort,
comfort to My child who mourns; You will be delivered," says the Lord.
*This song is based on Ps 34:7, Is 61:3 and 1 Corin 2:9 (written at top of this page). These are the three verses
that the Lord gave Joyce Coffin to strengthen her as she dealth with her father's illness and death. This song was
also meaningful to me as I dealt with the loss of my father. - Keri
